Natalia Vysotskaya: interior designer in Mallorca, founder of CID Studio

From training to a practice in Mallorca

Natalia Vysotskaya completed her design training at the British Higher School of Art & Design in 2014, and began working in interior design and decoration the same year. She practised for five years before moving to Mallorca in 2019, and founded CID Studio on the island that year.

Since then she and her team have designed the interiors of more than 120 private residences, completed or under construction, for private owners and for residential developments.

What she designs

She designs private villas, premium apartments and penthouses, most often for owners of newly acquired properties. Her villa projects are typically valued from €10 million and run from 650 to 1,200 square metres; apartments and penthouses from €2.5 million, and from 120 to 320 square metres.

She works across Mallorca, including Palma de Mallorca, Son Vida, Bendinat, Puerto Portals and Andratx, and the studio has delivered interiors for clients outside Spain.

How she works

Natalia works turnkey: interior architecture and space planning, materials, furniture, lighting, art and styling, then sourcing, delivery and installation. She stays responsible across all of it.

Clients approve the interior from photorealistic renders, virtual tours and video before anything is ordered. She limits the number of projects she runs at one time, leads each of them herself, and remains the client’s direct contact throughout.

A full project usually takes six to eight months: one to three months for concept, visualisation and approval, then manufacture and delivery running from two to twelve months, since around 90% of the premium furniture and all of the luxury pieces are made to order. The studio behind the work

CID Studio employs designers and visualisers who produce the renders and virtual tours, and coordinates the teams who handle procurement, delivery and installation. The studio sources from more than 700 European furniture, lighting and décor houses, alongside independent makers for custom pieces.

The studio also designs interiors for residential developments in Mallorca, for property developers and investors. That side of the practice is led through cidstudio.es.

Recognition and press

Her projects have won a DNA Paris Design Award (2024) and a finalist place at the SBID International Design Awards (2025), and she is an Archiproducts Ambassador. Residences she has designed have been published in Elle Decor España, Nuevo Estilo, ABC Mallorca and Archiproducts.

Projects are submitted for an award or a feature only with the owner’s consent. Otherwise the home stays private.

Clients, languages and discretion

Most of her clients live abroad while the work is under way, including owners preparing a newly bought home before they first arrive. Clients have come from the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Italy, the United States, Ireland, the UAE, Poland and Kazakhstan.

She works directly in English and Russian. Where a client prefers Spanish or German, the studio provides a dedicated client manager who speaks their language.

Client names, properties and project details are not published without consent, so a significant part of the studio’s work is not shown publicly.
